Dancer, pop singer, choreographer Paula Julie Abdul was born on June 19, 1962 in Los Angeles. The daughter of Harry Abdul, owner of a sand and gravel business, and Lorraine Abdul, a pianist, Paula grew up in the San Fernando Valley and attended Van Nuys High School. She briefly attended California State University Northridge before becoming an L.A. Lakers cheerleader. While there, her choreography caught the attention of the Jacksons, who hired her as assistant dance director for their Victory tour.
After choreographing Janet Jackson’s hit video Control and earning an Emmy Award for her work on The Tracey Ullman Show, Abdul launched a recording career of her own. Thanks in no small part to talented producers and big-budget videos like Forever Your Girl, Abdul’s debut album Straight Up made her into a bona fide star. She released her second album, Spellbound, in 1991 and her third, Head Over Heels, in 1995 with moderate success. Overall, she has sold in excess of 30 million records, has had two No. 1 albums and six No. 1 singles, and has won a Grammy Award.
After spending nearly a decade out of the limelight, Abdul became America’s sweetheart once again when she showed up on Fox as a judge for the network’s hugely popular American Idol in 2002. She also continues to run dance and cheerleading camps and competitions across the country.
Abdul was married to actor Emilio Estevez from 1992-1994, and to Brad Beckerman from 1996-1999

BRIT PERFUME REVIEWS
Brit 3.4 oz review by: Sabina H.on November 16, 2007-->"Brit by Burberry ia a subtle fragrance that is not overpowering. It is delicate, flowery scent that enhances the totality of the woman yet doesn't overshadow her being. It enhances you by not offending with heaviness, but satiates and titilates leaving your own personal essence to tempt the audience. Enjoy wearing it!!!!!!"
Brit 3.4 oz review by: Jan W.on September 4, 2007-->"LOVE IT! I have only really loved a couple of scents in my 54 years and this is one of them. I smelled it on someone else at church. After several Sundays, I could not stand it any longer, so I ordered. I have had so many compliments and mostly from men. My friend ordered and neither she nor her boyfriend could stand it. Go figure. It has such a sexy fragrance, it always makes me feel good
